Start with a representative inventory
Export a list of public URLs and group them by template: home, articles, archives, services and contact pages. Record redirects, canonical URLs, navigation and licensed assets. Include a few unusual pages; a homepage alone cannot represent the whole site.
Separate rendered content from plugin behavior
An Elementor layout can become HTML and CSS, but its forms and interactive widgets still need a plan. WooCommerce checkout, customer accounts and membership rules require application services. A plugin signature in a scan is a review lead, not proof of every feature in use.
Write an integration decision for each feature
For each form, search box, booking widget and checkout, record its current destination, who owns the account, what data it processes and whether it will be retained or replaced. Confirm spam protection, confirmation messages and failure handling. Do not remove functionality just because it is difficult to export.
Rebuild a small slice before the full site
With ownership and copying rights verified, rebuild one page from each important template. Compare content, mobile layouts, navigation, fonts and interactions against the original. Resolve the differences before committing to the full migration.
Define the handoff
Agree on source files, assets, redirects, integration configuration and validation evidence. Keep a rollback copy and retain access to the original system until the replacement passes the agreed checks.
